Update on the boys

The Good:

Cuddlebug and Bearhug brought home their report cards on Friday - the first ever with actual letter grades. They both did awesome!! We are really proud of them for all of their hard work. They are each making good progress toward their IEP goals for this year also, as is Little Bitty.

The Bad:

We're dealing with some difficult anger issues with the boys, Cuddlebug in particular. He's trying really hard, but is pretty frequently letting his emotions get the best of him. He actually bit his Nintendo DS last week when a game wasn't going the way he wanted it to. He left toothmarks on the screen, but luckily it still works. Similar issues with Bearhug, but less frequent. We're working on it...

The Silly:

The "Energizer Bunny of the Year" award goes to...
Bitty's shoe. Yep, it's been over a month now since the lights on one shoe got stuck in the "on" position, and it's still going!

Good job on your grades. My two year old is going to OT weekly for Sensory Processing Disorder and he will be tested in Dec for Autism. He does have a mother with red hair and a dad that is 1/2 cuban so I already knew his temper was going to be interesting. He really lashes out when he is mad and I have been reading lots of SPD books to figure out how to get a grip on it. Good luck with your boys. I hope you can help them work through it as well.

A blessing that report cards went so well! Give those boys lots of positive words! That light is too funny!!!

That's great news about the grade cards! Sorry Cuddlebug is having such a difficult time. I hope he's finding ways to cope soon.
